The Gottman Method Clinical Training courses are available to be taken at your own pace. You do need to start with Level 1 Training, but thereafter you can take any of the following courses in your desired order:
- Level 2 Training
- Couples & Addiction Recovery
- Treating Affairs & Trauma
- Therapy for Partner Aggression and Abuse
We do recommend taking Level 2 Training before the comorbidity courses because Level 2 introduces them, but it is not required. At this point, we recommend taking some time to implement the Gottman Method in your practice.
The next step is Level 3 Training. Level 3 Training has its own prerequisites, so check those out before registering with one of our Master Trainers.
If you are interested in moving on to the Certification Track program, you need to apply for the program within 2 years of completing Level 3 Training. If you are in graduate school or in the process of obtaining your license, please take note and schedule accordingly.
